The FOCUS of the Sunday Scrambled Eggs is on the opportunity for couples to play together and for everyone to have a good time both on the course and afterwards socially. Competitions in the Sunday Scrambled Eggs are meant to be fun. They have been a large part of our Sunday enjoyment. Some are wacky and some require a little talent. We will continue to share contest creation among our players and look forward to seeing what each of you can come up with! So put on your thinking caps - your time will come!
Some of you may have noticed that LADIES are ALWAYS the CAPTAINS in the Sunday Scrambled Eggs. Captains are the first name on each team. Captains have the final say in all team decisions, which include which ball to play and determining how to apply contest rules. Gentlemen, you all have plenty of chances to play competitively and show off your well earned golf skills and knowledge. But please remember that Sunday afternoon is for couples and we request that you give the ladies a chance to shine.
GUIDELINES: As general guidelines and to participate in a contest, unless specifically informed of something different, we will be playing:
Men from the Whites
Ladies from the Reds (Yellows on Par 5s when available)
4 Person Best Ball
All players on a team must have at least one drive
Should there be a new low score (31 is the current titleholder), only scores from teams playing Best Ball on the designated tees with all players using a drive will qualify.

Teams are randomly selected each week, attempting to put everyone at some point with everyone else. Please do not request to play with a specific couple. You will get to them eventually. Those who do not reply Yes or No to the weekly email about playing, will eventually be dropped off the SSE list. Not replying does not constitute a No. Also, even if you have verbally indicated that you will or will not be available to play, please reply to the email asking who wants to play each week. This group has enough people that it is difficult to remember everyone's individual schedules without written reference. I don't limit the number of teams we book, so I try to wait until I hear back from everyone. I must make a Request no later than Tuesday for the following Sunday, but can submit one as early as a week before. So please try to respond in the time requested.
CHELSEA BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS - The Chelsea System must accurately reflect the correct players per team at the time of play. CAPTAINS PLEASE NOTE: Susan will handle rearranging names and cancelling teams in Chelsea through 3pm Saturday afternoon, but team Captains are responsible to notify the Pro Shop by telephone with any lineup changes or team cancellations after 3pm on Saturday. Captains, please do not edit Chelsea as too many things can go wrong with linked teams. If you must cancel or change the name of a team member, or your team booking, please do it by telephone. Please notify me prior to 3pm on Saturday for any changes to the Sunday lineup. Sometimes we have substitutes who want to play and once the slot is gone we have no opportunity to get it back.
