Yikes! Nothing posted here since December? Where have we all been? Will take a look through photos and try to catch up here soon!
December 16, 2018 was Santa's Helpers Day, and everyone turned out in fine form! Gifts were exchanged after the game as everyone gathered for dinner and drinks after.
December 2, 2018 brings us to the month of Christmas - Santa's helper elves, all things red, gift exchanges and jingle bells on carts! We are on Eagle's Nest - hole number 8 will be Closest to Pin Day, and there will be medals! This is an individual win - HOLE NUMBER 8 on EN is 130 from the Whites and 105 from the Reds.
WINNER OF THE DECEMBER 2, 2018 Medal - landing 10' from the hole on his he-man drive was Bill Crawford! Congratulations, Bill!
Lizzie Gleason was a star on November 25 and posed for some beautiful photos. Everyone parred, or better, hole number 7 to win a small bottle of wine, except team #4, who parred but didn't get their photo of the cat! Guess a par is too easy for this group! Going to have to get tougher! Winning photo of Lizzie was taken by Kathy Haynes! Post Turkey "We Will Waddle Well" day was just about as perfect weatherwise as one could ask for. A beautiful 75, lots of sunshine and clear as a bell, with a tiny breeze. We had 4 teams out there having fun.
Official Opening Day, Sunday November 11, 2018 - the Golf Weather Gods were doing their job today, and gave us a beautiful sunshiny day out on the course. Perhaps the Pope intervened on our behalf.
The SSEggs turned out in their finest eggyolk yellows, despite the moans about how awful it made their skin color look! (The men, in particular, complained about this no end.) Even the Pro Shop noticed the influx of yellow as 5 teams traipsed through to sign in. We were officially announced for the first time to the Tees as teams from the Sunday Scrambled Eggs. Go Eggs!
It sure is nice to have everyone back again! Looking forward to some fun afternoons together in the coming months. The "games" will commence in a couple of weeks. So get ready to take on the turf! We'll be tapping deep into the minds of our teammates as new challenges abound for the coming year! Welcome back, everyone!
Summer News - congratulations to John Pugsley for his first ever hole-in-one achieved in Utah during the Summer! It is a major achievement, experienced by only a small percentage of golfers, but dreamt of by all! An Award was given to John by his fellow SSEggs on Halloween Night, the official opening of the 2018 Fall Sunday Scrambled Eggs season, together with the Hole-in-One money pool! Congratulations, John!
